Introduction to Glass Fusion workshop for beginners or those with previous experience wishing to work on their own glass fusion projects.
These flexible workshops run during any weekday ‘drop-in’ general session so there is no need to pre-book unless you wish to (Please note however that Saturday workshops will need to be booked).

Ideal for beginners, This workshop will introduce you to the art of glass fusion. You can use one of our project guide cards which provide an easy to use outline of a design, or you can draw your own. There is no need to cut the glass as we will supply ready cut glass and a range of frit and powders for you to use. You will be shown how to snip and shape the glass to fit your design. Included in the price of the session will be all the materials you need to complete a 10cm x 10cm tile, however, should you wish to make more than one, or use a larger base tile, within the time of the workshop, that is fine too but there will be an additional cost for materials.
All of the pieces made during the day will be fired then available for collection approximately one week later. Please take a photo of your pieces and keep an eye on our Facebook page, once the items are fired we always put them on our Facebook page so you will know it is ready. If you miss the picture update simply send your photo of what you have made to info@eastcottstudios.co.uk or text to 07747804487 and ask if it has been fired yet.
You will need to wear comfortable shoes (no sandals or open toes please) and warm, old clothes suitable for working in an art studio.
